Today, we went back into playa Del Carmen, for the second time. We needed to get more shopping done, and went to the beach in Playa Del Carmen (which, as I have said before is a much nicer entrance into the ocean).

When we got there, we walked down 5th ave and then went to the beach right away. We swam, for about an hour or so, Stacie decided she did not want to swim today, so she stayed with our gear, and read her book. (She has a little catching up to do, as i am about 50 or 60 pages into my 5th book, and she is on her second)

After swimming for awhile, we got out and went shopping. First, I was able to find a thimble for grandma (have only seen one other one, and i did not like it). After i bought this one, i started seeing about a million of them, ranging from sterling silver (certified silver), to clay, to wood ones. Figures, right?

Next, Stacie found a dress, and it fits perfectly. we bought it. Then we lost grandpa, and figured, oh well, we can find him. So we continued down the street. Stacie stopped, and we bought her mom a nice little gift, the only reason we went into that store to start with, is because he was standing outside, and did not pester us, saying come in come in. All he said was good morning, and for us to have a great day. after that, and everyone else pestering us to come in, we went and took a look.

Then it was off to the general store, and tequila place, where i grabbed a bottle of that cream tequila i tried the last time i was in. It was good. Also, grabbed a bottle of tequila for Chris, as Stacie promised we would bring him back one. Then it was time to look for a gift for Kevin, for helping look after the house. After a while, (and another shot of tequila, this time a pomegranate tequila) i found what i was looking for. (disclaimer: like dads, it may not be alcohol)

Next, still having not found grandpa, it was back to outside, and looking for him. We went back to the corner that.... yep.... Starbucks was at (Yep, even here they have them,.... along with McDonald's, Subway, Hagen Dawes). While walking to Starbucks, we passed a group of police, that were holding thier machine guns, (looked like Uzi's) and in thier black police gear. It was very cool. We got to Starbucks, then down to the beach, as we said that we were going back to the beach. After not finding grandpa, I said lets go back to the corner, at Starbucks, as that is the corner that we always go down to the beach from, and Stacie and granny can wait there, in case grandpa walks by, and i can go one way then the other, looking.

After awhile we found him, then went down, with my alcohol in hand, and went back to go swimming in the ocean again. Stacie sat out and read, and watched over the gear again, and we played and floated in the ocean, for another 45 or an hour or so.Then, we got out and continued shopping. After we were done, it was back into a cab, and the trip back to the hotel.

After getting back to the hotel, we found Iggy peaking his head out of his home under the steps, and i got a couple pictures of it. Then we went for a walk, and played cards till supper.

For supper tonight, Stacie and I checked out the Mexican restaurant. We got up there, and visited with a couple from Winnipeg, and then after a 30 minute wait or so, got seated. Supper was very good, and like an idiot, i forgot to take pictures of the supper. I had a chicken quesadillas for an appitiezer, the lime soup, which was very very very very good, and then a chicken breast, in a semi-spicy sauce. That was very nice.

Pictures will be uploaded later.
