Today, we went golfing. After relaxing on the beach all morning, fininshing my second book, we dicided today was a beautiful day, and we have to go golfing.
We walked down to the golf course, around 2:45. The last available teeoff is at 3. we hurried down, and were able to go. We bought 3 balls each, got 1 bag of tees, and 2 sets of clubs, and off we went. We were given a cart, and I am so glad we did. It was HOT out, had to be close to 30 in the hottest part of the day. Well first, I think we got hosed, and were charged to much, as it was supposed to be $59 US each for golf and cart, then 26 each for clubs, 7 for balls, and not sure about tees. Well, he charged us 2400 pesos, which is about 240 canadian. Yeah, thinking we got hosed. OH well, we golfing in JANUARY.
Well, first things first, only have 3 ball each, lets be good. Well, we both lost a ball on the first hole. Whoops. On the drive to the green, we saw 4 iquana's right close to the cart. And another animal, I got pictures of later, but not sure what it was. It looked like it had no hair. Did not get the camera out in time, but its out now for sure. On the forth hole, Stacie pulled her groin, and was hurting. She stopped golfing during the 7th hole. I ended up shooting a 54, with a 9 on hole 4. We took some pictures of the golf course, of Stacie golfing, not sure if she took one of me golfing, the houses right around the golf course, and that animal I was talking about earlier.
Going through the pictures, Stacie deleted the pictures of her golfing, and did take one of me.
On the way back, I took pictures of the enterance to the hotel, of a private residence outside the hotel, but inside the gated community. Of a waterfall at Secret waters (the private residence). Supper was once again in the buffet.
I went and checked out the sports bar tonight. There are 3 pool tables, a foosball tables, a pingpong table, a bar, some chairs and a bunch of tv. On tv right now is the aussi open (tennis) I met an older gentleman by the name of Ian, from Cambridge, ontairio. He is retired, and has been here 3 times since June, 2010. yep, 3 times in 7 months. He and his wife absolutely love this place, and come as often as they can.
After a drink, and visiting with Ian, it was time to go back to the room, and head to bed.
This day was shorter, by the blog standard, but decided you didn’t wanna hear about the buffet again for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Oh to go golfing in January. . . Totally worth the 240 CAN!!!!!! Looks liek the course was a great course nice and green - Sad to hear Stacie hurt her groin... Hope she is better now, and that it doesn't affect any other plans you guys have in the days to follow.
I'm soo jelous! and glad you are having a blast! I would recomend the double-Parasailing off the back of a boat. You go up togther: they reel you off the back of the boat. The view/experience is amazing. Have Drinks for me and some fried bananas, mmm!
What only two books in a week. Dave hates you golfing in January. Maybe the hot tub will fix Stacie or the spa.......
So gladf you are enjoying yourselves. You are missing all the snow aren't you lucky. Love your blog. See you next week.
