Today was brilliant - went on the Sky rail up to Karunda and back on the scenic railway. Didn't think I could do it with my fear of heights but the views were amazing and Graham didn't rock the boat too much to frighten me! Karunda itself was a bit disappointing as it was now very commercialised so we just wandered the endless shops and cafes trying not to eat too much as we'd had a huge dinner the night before. Finally back to the car after a brilliant day - all loaded up and off the the Holiday Inn at Cairns for a bit of luxury. They've upgraded us and we on the 6th floor! with a sea view and a balcony. Off to Bushfire for a nice big steak - really good until they tried to charge us extra for using a card - 1 1/2% extra - so paid in cash and need to find an atm now!
