With all the cloud cover it was hard to see anything, but we did get a peek at the volcano crater, as well as a "haunted house" on the way back to Cartago, which was an old abandoned hospital for TB patients.  It was huge!  And full of grafitti.  Lots of ticos were exploring.  By the way, it is freezing up on Irazu, to the point where you might want a scarf and gloves!
