San José, a town of about 100'000 inhabitants and according to the guide with nothing really to see, does have 2 things I love after this long traveling day: the pleasant hotel Adelaide, very good value for money, and a Jollibee. Jollibee is the Phillppines answer to Mac Donalds, and a big burger with fries is what I need to match the crackers I had so far - junkfood day :-)

The next day cycling to San Joaquin is the best stretch I did and also the most strenous. This time I managed to climbe up the mountain on my own. The climbe was even longer, but with a normal steepness, means I could pedal up comfortable using the two smallest gears.
The scenery and the views were just great, enjoyed the ride very much!

After Miagao it was not so interresting anymore, and the lots of Jeepneys passing just to tempting - lots of space on the roof, too :-)
So I reached Iloilo allready on Friday evening, quite a short visit of Panay.

Tomorrow Sunday I head for the ferry to Bacolod on Negros.

Sathurday? The hotel in Iloilo had laundry service, a pool & an Italian restaurant :-)
And I got a haircut, busy day!
