So...its nearly April and we are in Chile and its very nice. A little more pricy than BA but we are managing.
Santiago has a few too many shops on offer, and i have been tempted on various occasions and have, needless to say, given in. But purchases all worth while. It did however cause us to buy a small bag, on wheels for our extra stuff. But also to make our backpack less heavy.
We are staying with Pedro and his wife, who have been very kind to us and they have a lovely house with a pool. And they have a parrot and a maid.
Not much else to update, other than we are planning our trips to the South and North and then how to get to Lima. Apparently buses are a little dodgy.
