So, gladly have been back for over a week now in BA and have been kinda busy.
Last night we went to the theatre to see Death of a Salesman in Spanish, which was good, although we had to leave a little early, as 3/4 of the way through I remembered I had left the Membrillo stewing on the stove!!! So....we arrived home to lumps of charcoaled appley pieces in the pan and a disgusting smell, lucky it was nothing more.
Today we went walking and shopping, sadly, I came home with 0 new clothes. Shortly after buying a Diet coke and walking down a main road-Santa Fe, a HUGE gust of wind blew my skirt right up. Unfortunately my hands werenīt free, a coke in one and Buenos Aires Herald in the other, so very little could be done about it!!! Katie was also wearing a skirt, and I think everyone circulating us was chuckling at the site.
Tomorrow we are going to Tigre. I am very excited as it involves a train journey up the coast and a potential theme park visit. (and of course, site seeing) It is in a Delta like area, a less luxurious Venice apparently, so boat rides too. and tomorrow night we might be going to the theatre, again, to see Mamushka which is like a Cirque du Soleil type show.
Anyway, been going out a bit too and met up with Katieīs cousinīs friends who are out here and a group of people from her hostel. Also went to this aweseme Restaurant/bar nearby that is a converted old mansion/house which was very fun. Time is running out on the computor so better be off to our singey smelling apartment.
