I came to Colonia to see whatever was left of this once colonial town. As i walk around the tiny town at 8am half asleep after a long trip from La Pedrera, I notice some small markets stores had the same cheese on display. I walked into 3 small stores looking for a disposible camera since I had managed to break my digial camera at the beach yesterday. I had no luck with a disposible camera but I did learn about Colonia's famous cheese.

As I told one store owner about my father's diary farm in El Salvador, he told me I could not miss the chance of buying some cheese to bring home. So the story goes like this-I only have pictures of Colonia on my cell phone but I do have Colonia's famous cheese. :-)
