I had read about Cabo Polonio-a place of gigantic dunes you could sand surf and enjoy the beautiful beach . These gigantic dunes are well preservered by the Uruguayan government. The dunes are one of a kind and it takes special 4x4 trucks to make the ride to the beach or in my case an older man on a tractor on his way to get some wood for the winter.
To describe the dunes, it is like desert sand that if you took a sand board you could surf on it a good 40 fleet down. Truthfully, I never sand surfed in my life but I did try and managed a couple of small runs-i mean small!
