Here in the relaxing city of Montevideo you will feel at ease. Unlike Buenos Aires with a more hassle and bustle city of residents, the people of Montevideo are in no hurry for anything. Here you can truly relax and enjoy your lazy summer days down at the beach .

Montevideo has a downtown, an old city, and a long board walk along the Rio Plata. Montevideo could use more visitors here, the city is making progress by placing tourist police on the streets to protect and assist the few of us who are here visiting the city. Compared to the millions who live in Buenos Aires, Montevideo has allot less people with plenty of room to spread out.

If you are ever hanging outside the Tres Cruses Terminal in the cute little park cross the street be careful about sharing anything with the local drunks. Tres Cruses is pretty safe even at night-plenty of people walking around and little cafes to eat and drink. But if you decide to have your own sandwich and your 1 liter beer in the park keep an eye on the drunks. The locals hanging in the park are going to ask you to treat them to beer. You can pretend not to know the language or just ignore them they will eventually go away.
