My first full day in Buenos Aires began with a walk from San Telmo to La Boca to see the town and inquire about a ticket for the Boca Junior game the following day. The locals say,¨get there early in the morning and it should cost you about $25 pesos ($8.30 dollars) for the cheap seat. Now having done my homework, Boca fans can get pretty crazy during the game-especially if they winning during the game. So keep that in this should be interesting to see.

La Boca has a distinct favor from other areas within Buenos Aires. La Boca has these colorful houses, Boca Junior Stadium, and tango performers that dance right on Caminito as one strolls along the narrow streets.

At about 2pm, I made my way to Recoleta to see the tomb of Evita Peron at Recoleta Cemetery. The cemetery contains Argentina´s most rich and famous leaders buried at the cemetery. The entire cemetery contains mausoleums of the dead..

By 7pm I was back at PLAZA DE MAYO in the Casa de la Culture (House of Culture) to see a show entitled :¨Culture without Borders-Spain and Italy Sing¨. The show had been acombination of Opera, Theater, and Flamengo dancing. Quit interinting!

Saturday called for an early wake up call to go to the Boca Junior Stadium to buy a ticket for the evening game. I stood in line for about 1 1/2hr. to get the hottest ticket in town all for the amazing price of $4.00 for the female price.

What I experienced at the game was the type of passion that is missing when I go to see the NY Jets. Boca fans love their bevoted team that several songs are sang all through the game. The songs were inspirational and moving to hear. I had never experienced anything like this before and to be given special access to film all the fans was a real treat.

The game end with Boca winning 2-1. I left with a big smile, I had been with true fans at their best support their team. One important thing about the game was that Diego Maradona was at the game.
