hay everyone I'm working from a mac desk top mega computer in sydney airport having a go for free. its the first time I've had a shower in an airport but i thought I've been to so many may as well try and it was nice. Sydney and obviously Australia is just so mega think we need more time but itl be there for later some time. So you may be wondering what we have been up to well 5 days in Aussy town Sydney and this is it....

1 we went on the 5 hour free guided tour of the harbour bridge opera house and the botanical gardens with free goon (crap wine in a bag) and sandwiches.. the tour guide arrived in sydney a day before we did so the tour wasn't so good but 40 people from our hostel attended only 6 went all the way with the guide (and yes del did the whole walk and got all the good photos)

2 we went to the world famous Bondi Beach and it didn't dissapoint the water was a little bit colder than were used to but clear and surf looked great!! the under rip currents are so strong like standing in a torrent river!! the town isn't too touristy and really on the back streets has an awesome vibe of real shops and cafes wish we could have stayed. walked to the point watched sk8 boarders rip pin it up in the bowl just how Aus should be

3 went on a 2hr train outa sydney to the blue mountains 3336ft above sea level town. The mountains are more like a real tree grand canyon or a hairy grand canyon as i liked to call it never the less an awesome view point for a stunning trek into the outback. bought another olympus tough camera as a shop had a deal on, we are so rough with our kit and need something to last the next leg of our journey, so early bday pressie to me!

4 went to Fairdale animal sanctuary full of rescued animals like the ones you'd expect to see in Australia. Tazmanian devils, crocs, wallabies, wombats, bats, emus and (big pelicans) lots of birds and obviously sleeping KOALAS. This place had Wone awards and was a bit outa town but was about half the price of the sydney zoo that is supposed to be fantastic though..

night time day 4 we obviously hadn't done enough so we went out to SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE for a show LE SOIREE how lucky are we, we are very lucky, the best money i have spent so far on an experience for entertainment... just un imaginable madness, laugh cry cringe can't describe the show in detail on here it was just too rude in parts. Some of the gymnast men were so ripped it did make you cry, other acts made you feel like crying or laughing for other reasons. We had such a great time we have had no TV for nearly 5 months now I have read 3 novels the girl with the dragon tattoo 500pages 4 days so you can imagine how excited I was at the prospect of real live entertainment!!! this show was just all the madness no one wants to say..

Sydney sounds amazing! Granny & Grampy went there & loved the back streets also. Ps Congrats Padi trained diver! You can now be on a dive boat, underwater photography and a whole raft of other activities!
