Art Rice took us to a marvelous jazz club, where we saw the Yandim Band with Jana Koubkova. The club was great. It was in a basement. Typically here, the basements are constructed like a cave, where the ceiling and walls are a continual arch. The place was packed and there wasn't much room to move around. This turned out to be bad for the overly drunk man that fell into a table, knocking over two ladies drinks, and breaking their glasses which spilled all over them. His wife wasn't far behind him with her drunkness and didn't even look over or offer to help when he fell. We were glad for them to leave so that we could get their table. Jana Koubkova was absolutely amazing. She plays the horn without a horn, just her mouth. I found a video of her that doesn't do it justice, but still worth sharing.
