My third visit to Taupo was a bit more relaxed than the first two. The Kiwi Bus stopped here for two nights, giving most a chance to do the Tongariro Crossing, sky-dive, drink or some combination thereof. I stayed in and did laundry. Yippee!

Last night was spent in River Valley, a family run lodge. Volleyball broke out and a full dinner was served. I chatted with people until midnight then went to bed. Nothing exciting.

On to Wellington tomorrow. There is a cricket match going on, so finding a place to crash has been difficult, but I've managed to juggle myself into 3 hostels over 5 nights.
