We saw Lake Michigan and walked around some hilly sand dunes to get to the water. Gotta say a shoutout to the Prindles for having us stay at their home and taking us around the area. We loved the ribs! cornhole! burgers! etc... The trek via Ohio, Indiana, to Michigan wasn't too exciting. It was a lot of cornfields... And some more cornfields... From Michigan, we woke up early early in the am and took off for Ludington, Michigan and took the ferry over to Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The ferry ride was definitely worth the $$. The ride was a good few hrs with an in-house massage bed (which we did not take advantage of), Bingo (which I won a corndog!), movies, museum, bedrms, etc. The ferry was a nice size and it was just great to be in the water and take a break from being in the car driving. Plus we got to see other travelers and chit-chat. And! I almost forgot, I tasted the greatest beer ever! Summer Shandy seasonal beer from Leinenkugel Brew Co. Oh my goodness!! It was light with a summery lemon zest. I was definitely craving a beer, and this one was just absolutely perfreckin'ect! From there, we headed to Minneapolis, Minnesota to stay for 2 nights and get some rest.
Oops, and one more thing- 2 words: FIRE WIRE!
