Today we were up early and on the road headed for Oregon. We're both looking forward to getting home and spending our first night at home in a long time.

Since we're not making any detours and I'm not reading the map looking for new adventures along the way, I've got plenty of time on my hands to take pictures as we speed down the interstate. I could bore you with a lot more than the few I put up, but I won't.

Along the way we saw what appeared to be an oil or gas fire coming out of a tall pipe. Guess they had extra fuel to burn off, didn't look like there was a big commotion over it, so I guess it's a normal thing in these parts. We also saw lots of antelope out on the prairies in Wyoming. I don't know why we didn't see them on the way over, unless it was the wrong time of day. It was mid-day the first time we came through this part, so maybe they were all bedded down till it cooled off, and this time around it was early morning and they were all out feeding.

We stopped in Mountain Home Idaho for our last night on the road. Only another 500-600 miles and we'll be in our own beds -- what a wonderful thought. Can't help wondering how my garden is doing -- probably quite thirsty by now.
