Day 116 - Not much of a day, having to catch bus from North Tas to South. Got to Hobart around 1pm and checked into a hotel for a change. Walked around the city in the afternoon to get a feel of the place, heading down to Cascade brewery but not getting in as they have a dress code (no shorts!). Went for a drink in Irish Murphys but the place was overpacked so headed back to accommodation to take advantage of in room fridge, tv, cooking facilities etc - not had that for a while.

Day 117 - Another day trip, this time to Port Arthur, the infamous prison / convict area of south Tasmania. Was a grand day, decent bunch of folk on the bus, including one lad i shared a room with in Sydney when i first arrived - it's a small world sometimes. Had a guided walk around the prison / town area, then had an hour to explore ourselves, before a cruise around the harbour / port area. Again, not time to rest as i had to get back to the city to catch a transfer to the airport as i was catching a flight back to Melbourne that evening.
