Day 156 - Arrived in Suzhou around 11am and straight to hotel to freshen up. I managed to sleep OK on the train, but feel grubby as hell of course. Some refused to use the toilet at all, which is some going for a 14 hour journey. Anyway, had a look around Suzhou which is famous for it's gardens and canals, followed by a interesting trip to a silk factory and then for some more good food, and a few bars to end the day.

Would have liked to spend more time here, but never had the chance. It was the first place in China i saw loads of other travelers - German, Spanish, American and Aussies. In hindsight so, maybe its good we didn't stay too long...
