Day 108 - Long day (for Ali!) driving from Port Douglas all the way up to Cape Tribulation, bush walks around the Daintree rainforest (oldest rainforest in the world by the way) and back to the Atherton tableland. Cape Trib is essentially rainforest and beach, a cool area, however everytime we went on a bush walk it lashed down. It was the rainforest afterall.

Drove back towards Cairns and around a section of land full of waterfalls, lakes, scenic lookouts and some quirky villages. Found more cheap accommodation in Atherton (wouldn't recommend it for a fortnight if you catch my drift) and went for a few beers.
