Day 104 - Up early for sailing trip around the Whitsunday Islands. Got off to a bad start as a group of Italians were an hour late, hence delaying departure. At least the weather was great and i met a few folk from Kilkenny. The rest of the folk seemed decent as well. Good craic sailing around, but snorkelling not up to too much: poor visability. Decided to camp out with the Irish lot rather than sleep in the coffin boxes on the ship; good craic and a few beers were had.

Day 105 - Another day sailing around, landing on Whitehaven beach (gorgeous, and apparently when struck by lightening the sand immediately turns to glass due to the silca content). Only problem was the march who annoyed and bit everyone, and a girl who dislocated her shoulder and we lost more time getting her to a boat which was heading to the mainand. Again, snorkelling not great, but decent enough craic on board and i did get to kayak a couple of times (the second time it capsized on top of me as i tried to get back on!). Again, camped out and had the craic.
