Day 60 - Travelled from Valpo to Vina - all of a 6 mile trip. Different place however, all beaches and casinos (well, one casino at any rate). Had a good look around, went to the main gardens, main square, Easter Island museum, beaches etc and found a reasonable hotel through hostelworld. Had conger fish (eel?) for dinner - very nice. A nice half litre of Carmenere and a few bottles of ale, and i´m ready for bed. Another wine trip tomorrow or Saturday, to the Casablanca Valley, should sign off my South American trip in style.

Day 61 - Checked out of the hotel i was in as they were useless. Breakfast was instant coffee and yogurt - cheers! Luckily there was a hostel next door to it so checked into that. Myself and a German lad has the choice of 5 dorms (3 double beds in each) to ourselves. Not the first hostel i´ve been in that has been empty, but i´m sure NZ and Oz will be different.

Had a tremendous steak for my dinner, won a few bob in the casino and headed back to hostel at 11.30. There was some party on in the hallway (bunch of Chilean / Spanish speakers) making a reet racket until midnight, then they came back in dribs and drabs until around 7am. I got a great nights sleep! Funny thing is, only a few folk stayed, so i don't know what the craic was.

Day 62 - Went on a wine tour of Casblanca Valley, visiting 3 wine yards are tasting 6 wines. A nice way to start a day. Had to get back to Santiago to get the rest of my luggage and then head to airport.

Day 63 - 25th October, a truely forgettable day.
