Cram the 4 of us (and 4 very full backpacks!) into a little taxi at 5am, and we're off to the airport!!
American Airlines check-in not overly simple – accused of illegal flight changes & overstaying the duration of our tickets!
Attempts to penalise us to the tune of US$88 are met with blank refusal!!
They eventually back down – after 30 minutes worth of check-in queue develops behind us!!
Flight to Miami largely uneventful, top views of Florida Keys & the Everglades, film not up to much mind!!
Arrive 1pm (ish) and fill in US customs forms to get into airport & shops – most busy! (thanksgiving day tomorrow!)
Hot outside – hang about the airport for six hours!
Board an old crate of an MD11 American Airlines plane for 8 hour flight to Heathrow.
Food better this time, film even worse than the last one!!
Clocks forward 5 hours
Nice and smooth final flight
