Went on a boat trip around the island yesterday. Well, it was supposed to be around the island but we didnt get very far cos the weather was so bad! We wet first to a waterfall in a national park which was nice. Most people were too chicken to go in the water as it was quite cold, but me, Kate and Kathy all braved it, while Janine decided instead to break her flip flops and drop her digital camera in the water! Our guide was a guy whose name was apparently Mr Handsome and keot telling us all we were very beautiful and were like his babies! He asked us if it was our mum or dad who made us beautiful and I said the milkman, but I dont think he understood. He was quite impressed with my vague knowledge of Thai though, even though my accent is still pretty poor and I had to repeat everything until he understood what I meant!
Last night was the full moon party which was pretty good but a bit overrated. It was busier than I thought it would be considering its not peak tourist season and there were probably about 2/3000 people there. We lost Janine early on as she met up with Vicky and Ollie and friends so it was mainly me, Kate and Kathy for the night. I got really tired around 4:30am and slept on the ebach for around half an hour but managed to then stay up until sunrise at 6am. Went back to the bungalow then slept until 2pm today. Moving on to another, much less commercial beach on the island tomorrow and hoping for better weather but I dont think its likely.
