Working in a backpacker hostel is so much fun, just have a look at the pictures, you'll see my colleagues and some of the parties we do.
Every Wednesday in the pub next door the Scary Cary (part of the hostel) we've got a theme party, so far we've had, the PJ party, the Nurse and Doctor party, the Beach party and next week we're having the Cowboy and Cowgirl party. The concept is quite simple, if you come with an outfit, you get free drinks during the night. Considering that the bar manager (Paul, you'll see him on the pictures) is fucking mental, we have to wear an outfit every Wednesday when we work at the reception to promote the party. So far I've been lucky, nothing too outrageous!
You'll see also the pictures of our Xmas party, the idea was quite exciting, big BBQ in the Centennial Park with open bar. Unfortunately this day we had the biggest storms ever seen in Sydney for ages. Still we ended up doing the BBQ next to the toilets, only place where we could avoid being too wet. And then we all went to Scubar, one of the backpacker bars in Sydney famous for their "After Surf Camp" parties, using the Oz coach drinking all the beers and bottles of champagne we couldn't drink in the park
