Puerto Princesa to Hong Kong
After three weeks of beautiful sunny days, my final morning in the Philippines was welcomed by a bit of a downpour. I know, I know - quit complaining. But dinghy rides in downpours are never really fun and when you mix in luggage and a few hours on a plane, things get a bit messy.
Then there was the whole lost rain jacket situation.
Remember that pit-stop back in Dumaguete and the awful orange jacket it resulted in? Well, to this point I had escaped even the thought of having to use it. Not anymore.
The good news (for me) is that there wasn't a camera around to capture the moment. The bad news (for you) is that there wasn't a camera around to capture the moment.
And with that, paalam for now Philippines!
And here's a little contest to wrap things up: A bottle of Tanduay to the first to correctly guess where I stayed during my brief layover in Hong Kong on the way home.
The only clue you should need:
p.s... I didn't see them but I'd have to guess there are at least two more in the vicinity!
