Lisa and I ended up heading out at about 3:15am to make it to the airport for our 5:25 departure.   That was on top of getting to bed at 11:00pm the night before.  Luckily we both were able to catch some sleep on the plane.  We landed at 8:20am local Las Vegas time.  

I'm writing this in the car on Lisa' laptop on the way from Vegas to Mammoth Lakes...(forgive the spelling errors and shrtnd hrd too reed werds as I hit bumps etc)

More to follow....I'll try to toss up a few photos from the plane of the Grand Canyon in a minute.  Being in the desert, and relying  on an internet connection on the phone is a  bit dicey.
