Here are a few photos from our visit to Moonlight Springs Ranch a couple days ago just outside Monument Valley. Lorenz is a Navajo medicine man who maintains this range his grandparents lived on in the traditional way.

We're working on a plan to visit Lorenz and members of his family who will demonstrate the traditional Navajo way of life, then take a delightful hike through a surprisingly verdant canyon in this otherwise dry and dramatic landscape.
