Scott and I made it to the top of Pike's Peak this afternoon. Here's some video I shot "across the fruited plain" of America the Beautiful. It was about 90 degrees in Manitou Springs where we started out at about 6000 feet above sea level. At the top of Pike's' Peak it was 48 degrees at 14,100 feet elevation. Tomorrow we head to Denver to check out the walk there.
