We only spent one day in this country but maximized our time by taking a tour by both bus & a very cool refurbished steam train. Among the places visited were the coast & beaches, the parliament building & Legislative Palace, the embassies & ambassadors' private residences, Prado Park, the Town Hall, the Cathedral, & Independencia Square.
