40th Anniversary of the Summer of Love - got there very late because of big night previously and missed the band that weŽd been looking forward to for the previous 2 months - Canned Heat - needless to say we were gutted. Took us a wee while but ended up having an excellent time and meeting Marc OŽHarps.

Stayed in the Mission District this time at a place that canŽt make its mind up whether its a hostel or a hotel. Has a nice roof terrace with a wanky restaurant on top.

Spent a couple of days around Frisco then headed down towards LA to take the car back.
