Our first day in LA proper - we arrived at our Hollywood hotel which is a bit bashed up but located just off Hollywood Boulevard so not bad.  First things first and we got set up with some groceries and wandered around looking for a good view of the Hollywood sign.  We're here for 5 days and Steve's mum and dad join us on Thursday which we are really excited about.  When they get here holiday starts so there might not be too much bloggage going on so apologies in advance....
