So here we are on Lamma Island with Malcolm, his wife Debbie and his daughter Kira - I've been told off by Malc for not updating my blog enough so he has sat me down in front of his pc in his study and so here I am!

This island is beautiful - no cars or roads and much less frantic than Kowloon or Hong Kong Island.  The air is clearer here - it's pretty smoggy at the moment in the city so it's nice to come out here and get some fresher air.  It's a lovely sunny day and Debbie is making us some Sunday lunch so we are feeling spoiled.  We're in Malcolm's flat which is high up on the hill and overlooking some of the island - right near the main street.

Malcolm has been living here for about 17 years now and it's great to finally see where he lives.  For those of you who don't know Malc he is a very dear friends whom I knew in the UK from the age of 7 to 13.  I've only seen him two or three times since so it's lovely to catch up again here at his home.

We've been sightseeing in Hong Kong the last few days and next time I am on my netbook I'll do a proper post to tell you about it and upload some photos.

This is our last day in HK - we are off to Singapore tomorrow afternoon for the next leg of our trip...\

Asta later...xx

OMG Freddie, have you any idea how grim it is here!? (A) it's Monday; (b) it's grey and miserable (c) the next break is Easter which is not until the end of April! Glad you arrived safely at your first destination, have fun and stay safe.
