  Dear Vernae,
I was thinking this morning that I needed a good run.  I've been wanting a day outside, so, I opened the window, threw back the sash, and off to Grandmothers house I went!  The N.C. Arboretum is just down the road about 25 minutes.  I hopped on my Iron Steed and off to the woods I rode.  The place looks brand new.  The facilities were outstanding.  The trails were beautiful.  The second reason I wanted to go there turned out to be amazing.  I have a deep appreciation for bonsai trees!  The N.C. arboretum has the most comprehensive bonsai collection in North America.  Just last week, a lady on the Parkway told me that NC had it all.  Good things come in little packages, right Nae?  :-)   It turned out to be true in every sense of the word.  There were hundreds of bonsai's available to the public.  My absolute favorite was the cut-leaf maple.  You'll see it at the last.  It's gorgeous!
After running almost the entire area, I looked for a cool building to crash.  Took a short rest and rode back to Chuck and Lib;s.  It was a good day.
Enjoy these little creatures!
