Dear Nae, My last day at Great Falls was blessed by a surprise from Max.  She had secretly purchased a kayak trip on the Catabwaba for me.  The day was perfect in that all the needs were developing.  The weather was unusually great.  There was a wiper of rain in the air that never did develop.  We began at the Catawaba damn and went up stream to a spot where the Indians called Fishing Creek.  The local American Indians placed huge rocks within the Catawaba channel and used them to catch their daily supply.  We went all the way up to the channel and then back.  According to Jack, the trip was about eight miles round trip.  Dave is Jack's partner in their Kayak business.  They are great guys and I wish them wonderful success!  Their friend Max was there also.  He was a wealth of information regarding history.  We had a wonderful time solving the worlds problems.  It should now be a better place!
Thanks Guys!
It was a blast!
Thanks Max!  It was perfect...

Glad you enjoyed the tour. Next time you are down you will have to get Jack and Yak to take you on the Mountain Island tour. I will go on that one with y'all. Good luck in your travel.
