Dear Nae,
I decided to have a slow day and visit my cousin Mike at Cape Canaveral.  Little did I know that the day would end up as wild and crazy as any other!  Mike works on the Shuttle and is nearing retirement.  I got to his house about noon and we began to share things like "hot cars".  Didn't realize that he was a car nut too and a real speed demon!  He has purchased one of the hottest cars in the states.  It's called a z06 Corvette.  We took it for a "spin".  Think I may have messed my paints after it passed 120 mph in less than 1/2 mile.  We were pulling three "G's" over the bridge from the speed.  I couldn't lift my head from the rest!  What a wild, wonderful ride!!!
Mike and I certainly connected today.  It's a good thing to connect to anyone. Especially nice to connect to a relative.  Think we've started a friendship that will require my coming out again and helping him finish his sailboat.  Should be fun!  You may enjoy a few of the pictures.

Today, I also decided to take some more pictures of Mark and Kimmy's place.  It's just so great that I thought you'd enjoy.  Hope so!!!  I have so enjoyed my stay here.  They are such fun to be around.  I will definitely miss them!

Love to all.
Tell your Mom I said to say "hello" to all at Starbucks!!!!!  It's almost like missing family!

PS. The red line actually gets to move a little!  Going to Mid-Florida to visit an old friend.
More adventure.  More fun.  Hang with me girl!!!!

Dearick--At last I found time to read all your posts and look at all your photos! Most exciting of all was the shuttle launch. I'd give my eye teeth to have been there with you and Kimmy and Sandy. But the previous part of the trip is fascinating, too, and your photographic eye is remarkable! Nothing's been launched here in old Sedony other than the temperatures, which will almost hit 90 tomorrow but then will get cold feet and cool down a bit. Love your poem and your essays. I would call you St. Derick except that I know you too well! Love, Tinkerbelle
