I'm up and Adam on my way to Melbourne Beach. I'm so excited about the launch and seeing Kimmy and Mark. What a beautiful day! I'll take the Florida Turnpike and turn off on SR192 to Space Cost Parkway. More later!
Arrived in Melbourne about 03:00PMT. Kimmy and I walked the beach while Mark worked from home. (Somebody has to make the money) Melbourne Beach is actually an island connected by a bridge. It's a unique area. Very lovely.
Kimmy and I are scheduled to go to NASA tomorrow to tour the space museum.
Hope to meet up with my old cousin working there. He teaches the astronauts how to flow the shuttle. Everyone at NASA will be laid off in Sept. Mike will retire.
We'll take a boat out on the Atlantic to watch the launch. Tickets are really hard to get now.
After 2,200 miles of ridding, I'm very tired. Ok, but tired. It will be nice to sleep on a bed tonight!

Just learned of this blog site tonight. I've followed your adventures over the past hour....reading your daily entries. I leave on May 29th with 2 other friends, from Connecticut, down to I-40 (Nashville) and heading ultimately to California (18 days), up the Pacific Coast Hwy to San Francisco. Due to work commitments, we all fly back and ship the bikes home to CT. I will be setting up a blog. Thanks for the inspiration. Be safe for the balance of your trip!
