After the hard bike ridding, I decided that several nights here were in good order. It was a good decision. Really enjoyed both days of sitting around the pool and seeing the local sites. Tomorrow it is back on the road again. (Thanks Willie)
I've taken lots of picture's today. Going to try to load up pictures and come back to the writing. Saw Davy Crockett's rifle today. There was a painting of him. Actually, he as a gentle, soft looking guy. Interesting. He definitely was not soft. Jim Bowie was also not like I had pictured him. Guess that's always the way of things.
Also! The first ideas of the river walk was completed in 1941. My birth year! Yes Nae, I'm as old as that ole river!!!! However, that ole river can't ride a Honda. Smile. Also! I sat upon a bench that was made of Davy's Fireplace. My tiny, shinny, hinny tingled. (Probably didn't want to know that)
San Antonio is complete. It is over. I will leave tomorrow. Good bye for now and please,
