This was a change of pace in Bayahibe.  I somehow miscalculated my days here and wish I would have stayed an extra day, but for some reason, I thought my fight was two days away
and it was really three days away. Bayahibe is a small town on the ocean. It is only three blocks long for the main town. There are not prostitutes all over like the other cities and there are a lot of tourist. My first night was just walking around the town and exploring a few back roads and doing a short beach walk. Bayahibe has a very nice bay. It is quite and very clean water. The streets have music until late at night, but they are not clubs, most of the people buy beer or drinks from the local grocery store and just drink in the streets playing music. A lot of the restaurants here are very expensive, but they have a good feeling to them. They are uniquely themed to romance or Pirate's of the Caribbean or whatever style of food fits the theme of the restaurant. Most of the restaurants I went to were only seafood.

The second morning, I woke up and took a walk on the beach. I followed for at least 30 minutes and at the far end of the beach, there are a few nice resorts. I went inside
and walked around, then went in the pools and stuff like that. They were pretty nice. There is an island here about 30 minutes by boat, that I did not see, but I would recommend other people to see. I somehow misjudged the days I had left on this trip and should have
stayed another day to go to the island, but I did not stay. At about 9 AM everyday, there are local excursions that go everywhere. You can rent motorcycles or dune buggies here. It's a pretty cool place, but outside of the resorts, tours and beaches, there is really nothing much here. It's just a place you come to relax.
