I came home a few days later and had received a text from my brother stating that there was a leak in the roof. I called the homeowner organization who handles everything and it was much more than a leak. They told me that the sprinklers went off and damaged several units. They said they were going to sue me for all the damages. I was supposed to have a new renter moving in soon and had a good one lined up, but now this was not possible
. I came home to a badly damaged house. It was ridiculous. The entire interior was ripped out. There was no sheet rock, no dry wall, no anything except studs. The toilet was gone, the bathroom was gone. Most of the floors were gone. The next day, I sold anything worth any value as I knew I wouldn't be able to recover from this. I have a small amount of money and this damage will cost up to $50,000. I have no insurance to cover this. The renter was nowhere to be found. I turned in a police report and he did have a serious altercation with a lot crimes in Moses Lake and also a misdemeanor in King County. Since there was blood on the wall, I called the Pierce County Sherriff. He told me it was not enough blood to be considered a crime scene. He gave me all the guys personal information and how to file a case. He was born on 3/1/1967. I filed a theft report for the things he stole, which included a playstation 2, all my electrical cords and $325 in cash along with a lot of other things. I filed a report for him onine. He also stole an XBox from my roomie.
The following day, I went to the ex wife's house and talked to her. She said she would call the police if he came around. He also stole a camera from her and she filed a report for that. I called a lawyer and asked his advisce on the situation. He said they can not follow me to Australia and he thinks that the homeowner organization overstepped their boundaries
. The question becomes who owns the wall or what they took apart in demolition. If a common wall is owned by the homeowner organization, then it can be removed, however if my wall is owned by me, then they can not touch it even in the case of an emergency.
In the coming weeks, I have some big decisions to make. More than likely, I will lose my house because it will cost over $20,000 to fix. After that. I talked to the bank about handing the keys over and having a clean slate. THey said I had a few options, but the money the homeowner organization will sue me for or bill me for is not something that I can escape unless I file bankrupcy. This may be what I have to do, but at least everyone in USA won't come knocking on my door and repocessing all of my stuff like all the other people as I'll be out of the country...
ON the evening of April 28, 2012, my room mate named Ronzell Lewis Vernor, or Ron Vernor was renting a room from me. My brother was also watching the place makng sure nothing bad would happen when I was gone and he was staying in my room. My other room mate who rented out the third room came home to ROn with another female. Apparently they got into an argument while I was gone. A sprinkler was ripped out of the ceiling and there was blood all over the house. The sprinklers went off in every room of the house and flooded it.
