We awoke - had our breakfast and did a little shopping in Wal-mart for little accessories that were needed.

10:30 - Off we go
10:33 - stopped at a farm store to see if we could find a cauter pin to fix the retractable stairs that sounded like they wanted to work but the pin was out
10:37 - off again - the GPS was giving us ridiculous instructions so we did our own thing and of course it kept saying,"Recalculating, recalculating"  Dad finally said, "Is she going to fix herself?!?"
10:48 Florida welcomed us - did a quick pull over at the Welcome Center to check messages so we knew if Aunt Carol was expecting us or not - all was good

12:40 - Dunkin' Donuts - Dad said he has had his fill of Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts - time will tell
1:02 - off again
2:23 - made it to the Wal-mart in Ocala - enough time for Dad to shower before we got picked up
3:04 - realized we were at the wrong Wal-mart and left to go to the right one
3:45 - made it - Finally!  We parked at the Wal-mart and Dad's first comment was, "I think this has been the worst part of the trip yet!"  All's good.

148 miles covered

Uncle Pete and Aunt Gloria were also here so we had a wonderful visit - a delicious meal of steak and baked potato - Aunt Carol forgot to buy the mushrooms so we comforted her with the story of how Aunt Joan made great smelling fried onions and mushrooms, put them in a bowl and forgot them on the counter.  Wonder if they have eaten them yet?

It was good to hear stories of younger years and stories of retired life.  You get to know them in a different way than a quick conversation at a reunion.  So glad I came and had this time.
