Wow this was a full week. I met my conversation partner this week. She's RAD. Very Italian though. She's small and petite, loud, and speaks at a million miles a second. She is an English and Spanish major, and her English is a little better than my Italian but that's good because she can correct me and explain certain slang terms. Then on Wednesday I went to the Opera to see the Barber of Saville. It was crazy. I liked it a lot. There's a ton of famous music from there though, I was surprised at how much of it I already knew. For our tour this week with my History of Florence class, we visited Santa Maria Novella church. It was the first Duomo in Florence and has a lot of historical significance. Tomorrow we leave for the Amalfi Coast. I'm very excited.
