Hi All,
Just got back from a ramble around Lima. Went to Plaza Mayor where the palace is to watch the changing of the guard, then to Plaza San Martin and finally to a 1500īs gaol to see how they tortured non'Catholics. Hmmm.
Have some pics so enjoy.
Looking forward to leaving Lima tomorrow - next stop Ballestes Island )poor mans Galapagos) and styaing at Huacachina.
Hope you guys are having a nice Sunday! Im still jet lagged to the max but trying to enjoy as much as I can.

The Palace
I guess those jetlag pills don't really do much huh! Good for you getting out there and experiencing Lima life anyway. I wonder who the palace belongs to??
Having a quiet weekend - might go and spend some money today or something. Make sure you get a picture of you frolicking with the sea lions on Ballestes Is.

We LOVED the pics!
Looks a very scenic view from your window:) What a fascinating place!!
Random day here weather wise...rain, sun, rain, sun.
I can report that your nephew tasted cows milk for the first time today. I gave it to him straight from the fridge and after two sips he was cracking himself up (cos it was cold) so good ol mum had to warm it up for him. He also has worked out that the wheels on his toy mini mean it can roll along the ground.....
Rolling a ball along and playing his own game off 'fetch' is still the main source of entertainment however:)
So enjoying getting your posts...im checking my emails a couple of times a day so we dont miss anything. glad you've found some aussies to hang out with....!!!!!!
