Day 313;
We had a walk around the town, it was a really nice quiet kinda surf town with all the surf shops and most importantly a donut shop which had me and dad drooling so it had to be done, walking down the street with cream and sugar all over, Yum Yum, managed to find some cheap ish comfortable flip flops, that is now the 6th pair in ten months.
Walked back along the beach and already at 9 in the morning it was pretty hot, feel weird to think only two weeks ago we where in snow and freezing cold, so after a chilled morning we eventually left Whangamata and headed to cathedral cove, we had been to information centre and been told about the walk to it and it sounded good.
Managed to get parked easily which was a result, a bit of faffing around and then we went on our way, it was only a short walk which took about half an hour, through up and around a head land, the final herdal being 146 steps, it was beautiful and worth the walk, it was so piece full so sat and took a load of pictures, which I'm sure won't do it justice but will always remind us of it.
The steps back up weren't to bad but it did seem on the whole more hard work to walk back, but didn't take us as long.
We drove out to cooks beach to check it out as someone had told us it was nice, we had a look but preferred Hahei so headed back, found a pretty nice campervan park, once there we headed to the beach, used some of the ridiculously expensive internet.
Ended the day perfectly watched the beautiful sun set on the beach.
