Day
We had originaly planned on getting to picton just in time for the ferry but as we had stayed close by we had the morning to walk round the town, and sit in the gardens on the harbour in the sun, it was a perfect day.
Got on the ferry with no problems, even though our height and length was wrong as we had changed vehicles since the booking, left on time and had good seats out the back in the sun, the journey went quite quickly and ended up in Wellington by around five.
Knowing we wanted to hit the road pretty hard and get a lot of ground covered we cheated a little and got a mc donalds.
The drive was ok, quite straight for a while then windy towards the end, as we where so late we didn't see the point in paying for a camp site, found a nice spot beside a harbour there where two other campervans there also so seemed to be a good spot.
Late so all went straight to bed The end.
