Day 239 ;

So after the hectic night last night we decided to move back towards the town and as the prices of the rooms don't seem to change if you are in the town or miles away we moved back to the very first hotel we went into when we first arrived at mid night, still cost the same price as the first one but way better location, and probably a bit cleaner, I think the longer you travel the less likely you are to stay in horrible places.
After the nightmare of last night and the nearly two hours of walking around with bags on, no one was really in the mood so other than grabbing some food off the street vendors - which was pretty damn good, it was just a slack day,we did get up enough energy to go find ourselves some dinner and it was the best bit about the day - a proper restaurant with walls and a ceiling and windows, tables and chairs and a shiny floor!!! Made us all feel a bit human anyway, its been a long long time since we've sat down in a proper restaurant. It was an Indian too, and it was really, really good!!! Got all sorts, paratha's, popadums, daal, pickle, veg kurma, chicken tikka masala, veg curry, chicken curry, rices and man was it gooooood!!!

Day 240 ;

Decided we better at least see something and the only thing that was pretty much free was the trip up to dago, just outside the city centre, perched up on a hill. We caught an angkut from the south side of the station straight to Dago, a few minutes walk and a little confusion - we were also trying to find a waterfall and a forested park type thing - we gave up in the end and walked up to the tea house, it was pretty empty, no one to take any money so just walked in and git shown up to the top part, an open air theatre where they hold performing arts events and took in the view, all across bandung - and it spread for miles, couldn't see any end to it in any direction.
Didn't cost much, just the angkut there and back a few thousand rupiah each and it was worth it just to get out for a while.
