Where I stayed
Won't go into to detail but the start of the day was hilarious, for me anyways, by Phil having a little accident!
Again the sun is shining too hot to be stuck in a city but on we go, went for a long ish walk and found the museum which in the book which was published a year ago said it was 50 baht per person, we rock up and its now gone up to 200, now we don't mind paying for some things but nearly half our daily budget that's left after the room is too much, so we went on our merry little way.
Later Phil decided to head back to the gym to try out some Muay Thai boxing, ooo and humiliate him self some more, Phil being Phil and as I'm pretty sure already mentioned at some point in this blog Phil does not wear under garmets, so of he went in his long shorts, only to given shorter ones when he arrived, not quite what he was expecting, about half way through being taught through the kicks, one realised that they could see all his stuff every time he kicked. They all found it quite hilarious and gave him a nick name which he said he didn't even want to know what it meant! and continued p**s taking, only for Phil to realise once he got back that literally ever time he lifted his leg everyone was getting a full view, of everything! I think at one point the trainer said 'i haven't seen one before' a little worrying considering he was also a man. The boxing sounds really good so we are both heading over tomorrow.
They also didn't take any prisoners in my case, made us run for twenty minutes, skip for ten, then wrapped up my hands, took me in the ring, stretched, then off we went, through the punches and the kicks, after that was kicking the bag, then sit ups, then bouncing on a truck tyre - two hours later I was knackered and hobbled home with a red and blue swollen foot!!
