Day 46 ;
Arrived at Hampi at around half eight two hours after it was suppose to, if its going to happen its bound to happen to us! we got a tuk tuk to take us to the river, the guide book says its nicer to stay on the other side, but we decided at the last minute not to bother as all the temples are on this side and the boat stops at 6pm I think we made the rite desition there are loads of guest houses on this side and contray to the book they are reasonable, we got a roof top room where we can sit and watch the streets for 550rps so not bad at all! we went for walk and we got stopped by an American guy got talking and went for a walk and to have a drink, lots more walking but have a proper explore tomorrow when we have more energy, food, bed, hopefully a good nights sleep!
Day 47 ;
So today we walked then we walked then walked some more and it was pretty amazing, seen enough today and yesterday to go back and carry on so booked our ticket out for tomorrow evening! hampi is a nice place for a few days but once you have walked around and see what there is to see there is not much else to do, it does not have the safest feel about it all posters warn about being out after sunset and early morning or walk alone, we are going to be glad to get back to the safeish beaches of goa!
