This was just what we needed after 5 days in the hot Egyptian sun with our minds bursting with too much information and hotels that were a bit sad.
Three days of luxury: air-conditioned comfort, all meals provided, swimming pool, deck bar with pool table, nightly entertainment etc. etc.
Quite interesting travelling through a river locke as we got close to Luxor.
The sunsets on the River Nile each night were simply beautiful with the expanse of desert stretching out into oblivion, the banks lined with date palms, the simple little homes with patches of farmland, and the wailing sounds of the call to prayer for the muslims, and the donkeys complaining in the background.
A different world entirely - but a wonderful experience.
