March 31 - April 2

I guess on Thursday I forgot, that I was going to Torino on Friday! Rick, Anna and I left go to Torino around 11:30, and tried to find the chocolate festival. Did I forget to mention that this weekend was a Chocolate Fair in Torino!! Luckily, we just had to walk straight up from the station to Piazza San Carlo where we found dozens of tents (yeah for chocolate!!). We got their just in time for it to open. I spotted the Lindt tent right away and high tailed it over there.
When they let us in, we could choose to go left or right. Left was dark chocolate, right was milk chocolate. We chose right first (bad choice, because that meant we got the good chocolate first). Basically, you walked around the counter and were handed a piece of chocolate, all with different percentages of chocolate. The milk chocolate was really good, but the dark chocolate was another story. I do like Lindt chocolate, but I think any chocolate above 75% cocoa is gross. Of course, the last piece I ate was 95%!!!, and there was no milk!
We walked around for a bit, tried some chocolate liquor (eww...), I like chocolate wine sauce. I bought chocolate at Caffarel, my new favorite chocolate place.
We then headed off to the Cinema Museum. My second time there, but this time it was such a gorgeous day that we went to the top of the tower and looked out over Torino. I love these views, they are always so different.
It wasn・t a very long day, Rick and Anna wanted to see the museum, I wanted chocolate, so once we covered both, we headed back to Milan. It・s so nice that these places are so close, and transportation is not expensive.
Saturday, I went shopping, not for long, but I needed to get out of the apartment. Of course, I didn・t buy anything, but souvenirs...hehe...I・m addicted, what can I say, I have an entire box in the bottom of my closet with just bags of souvenirs. Don・t worry, it should all fit.
When I got home, I sat out on the balcony and tried to soak up some sun...not very successful...I・m still white as a ghost....oh well. I also finally did some laundry, I was running out of shirts and socks....
Next week is the Salone! Should be fun...until then...bye bye f
