Here are the pictures from my six day  trip to Montana which I just returned from yesterday - June 15, 2010. It turns out six days isn't nearly enough time. I've started posting captions and completed titles but it's going to be a work in progress. I'm hoping that if I've made any mistakes the folks in the know will correct me.

It would be difficult for me to express just how profoundly this trip touched me as my skills at writing are just not that great, hopefully the pictures help. I can only say that I have never been so engulfed in such a combination of familial love and natural beauty in my life. And it only happened due to the extreme generosity of a good friend and the sincere hospitality of family. My gratitude to both parties will never be forgotten.


June 17, 2010:
Well, I spent a few hours this morning carefully editing a bunch of stupid errors I made in my apparently jet-lagged state (yeah, let's call it that...) yesterday only to LOSE THE ENTIRE CORRECTED ENTRY while I was about 1/3 into the process

. Yup, 1/3 of the pictures gone through, corrected and edited suddenly, magically GONE!! About three hours work. Christ. Turns out you might NOT want to be updating your iTunes player while editing a blog.....duh.

Oh well.....back to the drawing board.....stupidstupidstupid.....

.....later that same day:
Alright, I think I've gotten a bunch of these annotated now and made up for the time I lost earlier. Should be a little better now.

Astounding pictures, Chris. Aside: Didn't see any bisons in the National Bison Range? Maybe they're all in the high summer ranges?
